There is only one John Danaher and if you don’t have the attention span for it, all can say is that you are missing out on the best BJJ and who knows what else teacher in the world. ANY topic John decides to teach I know has been researched and experimented with so that what you are receiving on the other side is very dense and well understood. Other teacher cover a lot of recipe style material but John distills each topic down to its most fundamental and systematic understanding. I really do think he could teach me anything. If John is teaching it it is worth your time and money.
The counter series to guard pulls alone make this DVD worth it. How you gonna develop your standing game, if they constantly keep pulling guard. Force them into standing position. Then you get a whole bunch of solutions for a lost grip fight, including brutal instant fight enders. A must have to complete the Feet to Floor Series!
Great information
A bit too dense for a beginners instructional, which makes it hard to I pigment in rounds if you have no standup ability already
gi take downs
Great advice on takedowns, pulling, & countering
As far as the standup series this is just as good as the first two. Needed in the sport.
Great for someone coming from judo who wants to understand the guard pull
great information as always by the greatest jiujitsu coach ever
another masterpiece
Great video!
Danaher does it again
The best of the 3 volumes. Loved it!!!!
Being a 52 jujiteiro with no judo background i have always struggled with takedowns. John Danahers offers us a complete system of takedowns adapted for jiujitsu. I have got the whole serie. For me it is the bible of the standing game.
An excellent third volume to the series.
amazingly thorough
Another master class by John Danaher. Appreciate the focus on teaching complete jiu-jitsu from multiple approaches on the feet.
Bought this instructional to study John's methods for countering guard pulls. As always John's content never fails to disappoint.
Amazing content, Danaher is always super detailed and systematic!
I have purchased every series John Danaher has made. During Covid, a buddy and I would meet and review the techniques, drilling each one. Danaher is able to disect positions, highlighting the key problems and the solutions to those problems. He is able to point out why you are doing things in a technique which makes remembering it much easier as well as better.
Mr Danaher latest instructional is full of breakthrough moments , full of layers upon layers Of discoveries. Today, none of Us will have the opportunity to meet and to say“thank you “to;Helio, Bruce lee , Kano Jigoro or any of the great Martial artist of the past, for their great contributions, so I should take this opportunity to say;Thank you so much,Mr Danaher, thank you, for putting out so much brilliant content, and thank you to all you guys in bjjfanatics, you guys are alway striving to improve. Mr Danaher’s instructionals are not just to learn, but to learn how to teach and so much more.
Top notch instruction
Well first off, I have the BJJ lifetime discount card, so I don't need the 20%. Also, I buy almost all the videos, especially being home bound, and I don't like them all. I'm sure some top judo players may pick at some elements of F2F but after watching and drill the whole series, "Meat and Potatoes" for takedowns, especially for non experts. Some seem to complain about Danaher's "longwinded" approach, but that's the strength for me. The initial watching of the series, give all the practical theory, then drill with confidences and you're off to the races.
