Great video for older fellas like me. Good instructional with moves easy to replicate
Phenomenal and well worth it, lots of technique with great explanation. I don’t ever write reviews but this was necessary for me to write one
Can't beat the quality of information or the stories!
Great techniques
Variety of takedowns from a variety of positions, high quality advice and great things to learn.
Great info on catch takedowns.
Great approach to nogi takedowns with the very simple entries and finishes to more esoteric ones.
A lot of basic Nd advanced takedowns in this video. Easy to follow along and apply.
I love how Neil combines the takedown with submissions. A really cool set
This video is fantastic! At first I was skeptical of such an expensive video from someone who isn't necessarily a wrestler on this subject but it turns out to be the best introduction to the standing aspect of grappling I have ever seen. It is very systematic, if you learn this video you will have a set of techniques and a system to impliment, unlike others that give you a technique and leave it to you to develope a system around peicing together moves. The takedowns are a mix of some fairly standard and some more unique techniques, but all of them are taught in a very good way and I found some of the most value in being taught some things that I already "knew" before since I had a whole new look at them. And also as someone who likes Neils general style and uses his guillotine, guard, side control and cradle systems I like to have a takedown approach that just feels consistent in the same style and approach.
Neil always has something to add with a twist
I’ve got most of the stuff that he puts of and he never disappoints. This one is no different, full of really valuable stuff that I can’t wait to add to my game.
tons of great takedowns that are good for grappling and mma
Awesome!!!!
Very detailed takedown instruction from the unique perspective of Neil Melancon. Will help the takedown game of any level grappler.
I have 8 instructionals from Neil. Love every single one. This is nice cause what he shows works. Against small or big opponents.
I love the connection between the taekdowns and the following (brutal) submissions. So you get both, taekdowns and fitting submissions.
great
Excellent guide to basic stand-up for mooks like me.
You'll **** less. Great easy takedowns that will change your game!
what a carismatic character this neil person is
the best
Neil is an awesome instructor. This series added some great new takedowns to my game.
Most BJJ gyms I’ve been in don’t focus on takedowns so having an 8hr Instructional on takedown set ups and finishes is incredibly necessary. Also as a person who isn’t very athletic, having a lot of body lock options for takedowns is nice.
awesome concepts and transitions for the standing game
