As usual, Aaron is a fantastic teacher. Was looking to learn more about SLX and X and this will be something I will use throughout my jiu jitsu journey.
I first discovered Aaron's instructionals via his YouTube channel when I was working on refining ankle picks. Since then, I've grabbed his leg drag, high elbow guillotine, and butterfly 1/2 instructionals (which are all awesome), but this one is arguably my favorite. His teaching methods are second-to-none. Benzrihem builds off core concepts before delving into specific techniques, which I find really helps me retain and implement moves. While I've enjoyed playing both X guard and single leg X since my white belt days, Aaron once again manages to provide game-changing details to positions I *thought* I knew! I could not recommend his stuff more!
I love X-guard and this instructional is amazingly detailed
Great details. Includes footocks shin to shin and thorough Modified x
Aaron is a great instructor from Bernardo's academy. He's very good at laying out the fundamentals of a technique which is the secret sauce. His instructionals always have a ton of content for a very reasonable price. Buy 'em!
X
Learned huge details to improve my single X, and transitions to other X guards
I have his low knee shield and thought that was very well put together. He is an easy guy to learn from, great at communicating information. So when I was looking for an X-Guard instructional - he was an obvious choice! An the instructional does not disappoint. You will learn a lot, but it is broken down into small enough pieces to absorb. I highly recommend this.
Easy to understand, very detailed. Great instructor, you will find pace of course good and lots of content here.
Aroon was able to articulate all the variations of X guards in a simple and effective system. Awsome!
Professor A . B. does a great job of giving an overview and pathways of and in between almost every kind of x-guard. He overs very clear ideas when to use which kind of and how they connect to particular sumissions and sweeps. Without sugar coating 😉
This is an awesome review of the X-guards Professor Benzrihem is very knowledgeable and conveys information very efficiently. Well organized and succinct
The attention is on the “s” of guards. A great instructional, that ahows the x guard world as a whole
Great dive into the slx, modified x, and x guard positions. Learnt the basics and the nuances of each guard and the proper transition between these 3 guards. Good details and sweeps!
