  I had some doubts with the very first technique being a jumping closed guard, something Bernardo himself admits is now illegal for white belts in competition. It didn't make sense to start a series on foundations with something that was not in fact foundational. However, the rest of the videos were very informative and helpful. I have already integrated some of the techniques into my training at my local school. The static camera can sometimes be a challenge, as the viewer cannot see what body parts are obscuring. Otherwise, this has been very good at cleaning up and augmenting local training.
