This is an excellent foundation to your game at any level of BJJ skills. Would recommend to anyone.
Lachlan's instructionals are very detailed. If you search for a technic or position belonging to an instructional you have bought from him you will find the answer in the instructional. He doesn't omit somesting. Highly recommend.
Lachlan Giles is an amazing instructor who is very articulate and smooth with his teachings. This really helped me solidify my base knowledge of escapes.
Lachlan is a great teacher and is excellent at showing you exactly how the mechanics work for each technique. This is a great video to come back to if you have been getting stuck in a position and need a new escape method.
I had trouble getting stuck in certain positions at times. Especially under bigger stronger guys, but using these methods and referring to them when needed has helped me not get stuck nearly as often
I have several escapes instructional, but this one was (and still is) the most useful. Focusing on escapes was the best decision, and I still refer to this DVD on a regular basis. Also, it is great that both gi and no-gi are covered in the same instructional.
Great video very effective for me in mastering successful escapes
Extensive ressource, great details.
Good contents
Lachlan is a very good teacher with very good conceptual knowledge.
I have implemented these escapes and even higher belts are struggling to keep me pinned.
Lacklan shows you the ins and outs of escaping a whole slew of positions in a very concise manner. Well thought out, with world-class instruction. I highly recommend this and every other instructional he produces.
This course has really helped me to get out of positions that I commonly find myself in
Well planned, methodical, detailed but not to verbose. Lachlan is a good instructor and makes great products.
I Have watched a few parts of the tutorial a few Times after getting caugh during some sparrings. I go back to it on a weekly base since i purchased it. Like all of the Lachlan Giles tutorials it is extremely well made.
He is good teacher
great
one of the best teacher in the game
This gave me a systematic approach to escaping from every key position. I learned a ton, even about the basic mount escapes that I thought I knew
It is a great series that covers defence from all the main disadvantageous positions and their variants. The contents are extremely well laid-out; having an easily-navigable encyclopedia of escapes on your phone is incredibly helpful to figure out what you should have been doing just after the sessions, while the roll is still fresh in your mind.
Simple and easy to implement texhniques
Great video, great breakdown, and Lachlan makes everything easily digestible! If you are on the fence, just go for it!
Great video, easy to find things, and a great teacher.
It was either this escape instructional or the equivalent instructional from Danaher, Decided to buy this one since I'm a white belt with a body type similar to Lachlan. It felt more natural to try and emulate him as a beginner. Very pedagogical instructions and the commented rolls are great.
Lachlan's details are always on point. He goes smoothly through all options and things to look out for/to drill.
