Awesome and hilarious. The by play between Jeff and Pete throughout this is funny as ****, and Jeff explains each escape really well while also giving great tips that are applicable on a more general basis.
In this instructional Jeff shows crazy things I think he personally developed/invented that I have never seen before even after watching tons of bjj content. Some of these moves are wacky, and unconventional... but not just one time gimmicks, they are effective and I have had good success using them. However I would not recommend this to be your primary escapes content you base your game off off For example, what Jeff shows from bottom side control is insane and mindblowing, but I believe you should know the fundamental escapes from bottom side and add this powerful technique/tool to that game. Huge respect to Jeff to sharing such unique and brilliant grappling tech he has developed that I have not seen anywhere else
Really enjoyed adding these to my escape game. Easy to understand and implement, especially for flexible people.
Great video! Jeff Glover is one of my favorites and it’s nice to get his insight. Great price too!
As a slightly more experienced martial artist I avoided grabbing this for a while, collecting Jeff's other content first. I told myself I would eventually buy it just to complete his collection but what could a 3 year blue belt really need with a DVD on escapes, right? Wrong. Boy was i wrong. Not only did this sharpen up the fundies I already thought I knew, but it introduced a bunch of new concepts as part of the WHY. Too often we just memorize moves from class like a chess opening from the book, but then get lost if someone responds in a way other than what we have drilled for. Sensei Jeff connects the dots in a way both experienced and new practitioners can benefit from. Plus he is handsomer than the other instructional fellas. Two thumbs way up.
Good instruction and information. Jeff Glover is a great teacher. He breaks things down to make it easy to follow and is entertaining also. I've purchased several other of his instructional series and they have all been equally good.
Jeff is a great coach. He has such mastery over his body and makes the moves look very easy. He's very clear about what you should be doing and looking for and gives me alot more confidence for escaping difficult situations. Im a white belt and i'm really happy I got this high level of instruction early on, these are good seeds to plant early and jeff makes this DVD worth every penny.
