Just buy John Danaher’s dvd
As usual, John Danaher is the gold standard for coaching and instruction. Techniques and principles are detailed superbly well, and I am now far more comfortable with the fundamentals - not just for my own performance on the mat, but when coaching too. Thank you very much Mr Danaher!
I'm a newby white belt and this series is perfect for me to understand basic fundamentals.
It may seem expensive, but you’re taking the best foundational course around with a big discount. Wish i had it sooner.
Masses of details and tricks, as well as good broad rules for all fundamental positions. A lot of minute detail to process though, might not be the best for short attentions spans.
My thoughts here mirror my thoughts of Enter the System. John Danaher is a master practitioner, teacher, and teacher of teachers. His results speak for themselves. I purchased this instructional series to help me teach the students of my new academy and put some structure around my own curriculum. Through studying John Danaher and his teaching style, I have improved my own and it shows in the development of my students. I recommend this series for anyone interested in taking their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills to the next level and for anyone needing help structuring their academy's curriculum to help your students make progress faster.
John's thorough breakdowns and lessons are amazing as he breakdowns the mechanics of the sport so we can understand why we move in the sport! Helps build great fundamentals and has helped me with my training! Thank you John!
This is a must have for anyone looking to focus on details and have a complete package regarding their Jits game. John breaks it down in a simple and easy to understand way and I appreciate his goal of having his students be aggressive attacking with submissions and not concerned about being placed in a bad position! This is what has been missing with the game!! Thank you, Professor Danaher!
While I was in a bit of sticker shock at first, everyone I talked to said that Danaher's GFF series was the best way to knock off the rust and get myself grappling at a higher level than ever after taking 7 years off. After working through the Pins and Escapes series it's already paid for itself. Danaher tends to be a little repetitive, but it makes sense given the immense amount of info he provides! After a few weeks I've already noticed a significant improvement in my bottom game. Next up is learning some new positions and submissions! 5/5 stars, would recommend.
What an amazing instructional video! The techniques are broken down so perfectly. It’s very easy to understand an apply. And it’s great to watch even if you don’t have a person to train with while watching the videos.
I'm a brown belt and I refer to it all the time.
So much amazing knowledge glad I found this! The way John explains everything is precise and to the point. Thanks To John for making these series of videos!
Excellent,
Beyond amazing! Thank Mr. Danaher! You are a true Sensei.
I really enjoy Danaher’s take on the fundamentals of BJJ. Great series.
I wish I had watched this video series when I first started training, it's exactly what it purports to be - a thorough, essential and effective foundation. The cost is very reasonable when you consider you would be lucky to get this much information from a school over the course of a year.

fantastic coverage of details
See above.
coolio
best complete anthology for the basic principles, gave me great understanding of positions
I was able to win multiple tournaments with just a hard study and practice of the half guard system (3 way attack trilema). Not only a broad principle based approach, but also a way to learn specific techniques completely correctly. He does annoyingly repeat himself, but quite frankly, it is advantageous to the study and knowledge retention. Hes brilliant, as we all know, and i am convinced that you could get to at least a highly respectable purple belt with this video series alone. If you want quick tips, look elsewhere, but if you want a thorough understanding of why things work, what is most important, what opportunities present themself from each situation, and what opportunity you should choose if given a choice. thumbs way up!
Worth every penny!
