If your a mma fighter looking to stand youb will find yourself in half butterfly alot. This has helped me
Truly masterful instruction. Explanations are clear and to the point. World class!!!
excellent explanations, easy to understand and implement into training
As usual Brian's instructionals are well laid out and very clear and easy to follow just like his clamp video. I have recently started implementing some half butterfly into my (mostly) half guard game.
Comprehensive and detailed overview of half butter fly guard. Plays well with Danaher DVDs but with a few more subtle pointers. Would give ten stars if I could. Excellent instruction.
Scientific approach, no brainer for half butterfly ressource.
a lot of good details !!!
Great instructional. There are few instructions on the half butterfly itself, so anyone interested should buy this.
Prior to this instructional i was never played the butterfly guard as i thought it wasnt for me. However Brian was able to open new pathways which took my game to the next level! Brian is a great instructor teaches and speaks very clearly.
a lot of good details
exceptional information on half butterfly
I've been following Brian's YouTube channel for some time and was excited to see he had an entire instructional on the half butterfly. not only do you see how to enter the position from neutral, Brian also covers how to enter the position from mount, side control, turtle, etc. Brian gives you a complete game as well looking at both upper body sweeps and attacks in addition to leg lock entries. I highly recommend it.
Solid. Information
Very well explained, lots of helpful details.
I wanted to get this because I'm really interested in half butterfly. I find myself instinctively going for it, even before I really understood the position (this is probably because of Danaher's emphasis on inside position). But, I noticed that Danaher doesn't really have an instructional on half butterfly. He doesn't discuss it that much in his New Wave: Half Guard instructional, either. I love his teaching style, and I'm hesitant to buy others because of costs. I've been following Brian on YouTube, and it's obvious that he's Danaher's student. His teaching style is very similar, and in some ways it's more succinct. He's fantastic! This, combined with other material I have from Danaher on butterfly sweeps, has really upgraded my game. I love this. Get it!
Quality instruction and very well organized.
another great addition to prevent getting smashed by larger players
