This is one of the best Lapel choke instructionals out there. At first I was sceptical at first because I've seen quite a few Lapel Choke instructionals, but I was sold on it when I watched the preview of Miko Hytonen teaching. The guy is a Brown belt, that is not only hilarious but really knows his stuff, when it comes to showing and teaching techniques. Some instructionals while clear and concise can get boring after a little while, but I find myself watching this one on a regular basis because of Miko's humour and teaching style. Lastly the techniques actually work and are very effective. If Miko Hytonen's Lapel Chokes From Everywhere is anything to go by, than I can't wait to see what he brings out next because this one was brilliant.

I loved this instructional it shows simple techniques but with very important details. I loved all of the guard passes. What I love about this instructional is also the variaty of positions that are covered here it has enough details in them to be interesting even for people who are very advanced. I will refer back to it many times in the future

I’m very happy with this purchase. All the techniques are well explained and demonstrated. It’s great for those that want to start dipping their toe into more advanced stuff than just the fundamentals. It covers passing the guard, maintaining open and closed guard, as well as attacks from various positions.

Great review of the detailed mechanics of certain fundamental Jiu-Jitsu techniques. All the techniques shown are highly effective and work at all levels of the sport. Gregor does a good job chaining them together into a coherent strategy.

Gregor does a very good job working through the fundamentals. i like that it is kept simple, but still has some details. i’m rewatchung it now to practice the details.Surprisingly it is missing a few of the fundamentals, the most important being escapes from pins, but Danaher has a great video on pin and turtle escapes. as well, I was a little bit surprised in the production value in that there were some key areas where they could’ve easily edited out some behind the scenes type commentary but didn’t bother to do so.
