Excellent instruction! Perfect for short guys like me. Changed my game.
Good product to have. I would buy it again.
Very helpful strategy dealing with bug opponents
a great instructional for us smaller guys that actually works
Very informative. Pick a number of good tips.
Easy to follow, good instruction to get the angles to land the techniques against big dudes
Great collection of techniques to use against bigger opponents. Heavy emphasis on butterfly and X-guard.
Highly, highly recommend. As a smaller guy from an MMA background, I've struggled against bigger opponents in the gi- the prevalence of grips in gi made it so that I had a much harder time evading them and "squirming" around them into advantageous positions. This course has really helped with that- obviously big guys are usually going to pose more of a challenge than small guys, but I feel much more comfortable defending and counterattacking in the gi now.
B. M. provides his open guard game based on butterfly guard of course. He gives you sweeps and bake takes as well as straight forward submussions. He connects it with his x-guard game out of butterfly and shin to shin in the same manner and with DLR guard too. He is shiwingcthe entry and the key points ifxeach given technique several times with clear explanaitions folliwed by the whole sequence out if dufferent angles and from moderate to full speed. Highly suggested!!
good content!
Nice dvd, it is interesting to see the techniques developed to utilise maximum efficiency. I would have liked to have uke and tori in different gi colours but that is all.
This will help anyone serious who wants to practice jiujitsu for the long run. Going against bigger guys doesn't necessarily need to equate to being smashed any longer!
Bruno's game is very specific but being a bit shorter myself I was able to adapt most of these moves into my game.
This was a great guide to go against big strong dudes. Being able to get under them and use my legs against them instead of my arms makes a HUGE difference. Playing butterfly guard, and even x-guard are fairly new concepts to me, but I’ve been able to implement them in my game and honestly I can already notice a difference. Highly recommend.
Bruno doesn't waste time with an intro for this instructional. He gets right into explaining everything in just the right amount of detail. Some techniques require a collar grip but others could work just as effectively in no gi. Good length / amount of content for an instructional too.
Great against bigger opponents!
Simple and effective
Many of Bruno's techniques involve being quicker than your opponent and being a step ahead. However, they are quite powerful provided your timing is down.
love all the sweeps
I own all of Bruno’s instructionals, extremely easy pathways to follow and has put my game to an all new high
So useful for me as a smaller grappler. Great techniques, explained well, good camera angles
incredible insights on starting a roll especially with bigger guys
Great instructional, these techniques really work on big guys!
the amount of details you get to learn from bruno malfacine from all the videos is amazing. All the instructions he is giving while doing the technique is very clear and he provides good angles all throughout the content you get with all his videos
I've applied several of the things Bruno teaches in this instructional. I really like all the options from Butterfly. Highly recommend.
