Great step by step with progressions in the movement.
Exercises for the seated guard and to reinforce the butterfly guard.
I love the way Goldman has organized these drills in progressive order so they build on each other. I've been using his wrestle-up drills in particular when I teach advanced classes. I've also come up with some of my own to reinforce butterfly guard and shin-to-shin techniques based on his method.
I never find myself in seated guard but the stuff you teach here is cool:)
I liked the content to improve my seated guard
This is a 4 Volume set filled with a variety of different drills you can practice to improve your game there are solo drills and also partner drills
I found great value in this Instructional. The presenter Ari Goldman spoke clearly and gave good verbal instructions. The drills and movements were shown from multiple angles. The production value of this course was high, the video, sound, lighting and captions were all very professional. The course was laid out in a very logical easy to follow manner. The drills all are based around building skills and movements for techniques that you will use during live rolling, for example: Arm Bars, Sweeps, escapes and many more The course started off with drills from the mount, and then went into drills for all the different positions, side mount, Turtle, top Position closed Guard etc .. The drills were also demonstrated with different options, a grappling *****, a partner and solo, most of the drills could be done with any of the three options I recomend this Instructional for someone who wants to get some extra mat time in, I have also found it useful for a drill class I attend as it gives me some good drills to work on. Ari was a featured instructor for the Insider club and after watching his private lesson and Instruction I decided to purchase his Instructional and I am glad I did.
but, if I have to choose, i would prefer the other ground instructional. still really good stuff inside.
I see ari on instgram a lot. I have my found myself in the need to pick up solo drills. I though I give this video a try. So far I have watched a bit, and jumped around. I love it! I cannot wait these drills at home. I would say yes this is worth a buy if you want to do some solo drills. It all seems very functional.
