If you are a half guard player, this instructional is a must have. Jake shows you how to escape directly to deep half which opens up a lot of options for you or he goes directly to his counter attacks. Hes instructional is very technical and straightforward at the same time without missing critical details. That's why I highly recommend it

As someone who's only been training for a year and a half, the techniques within this DVD give me a chance to make up for the mistakes I make in training/matches. Major emphasis on not just neutralizing your opponents attack but regaining control in a dominant position. He teaches in a very clear manner, and it's easy to understand the important components of each escape/counter. There's some pretty funky non-traditional moves in there as well.
