Super helpful instructional. I feel much more comfortable in knowing what to do from 50/50
Great over all view from physiology and theory to techniques and execution.
Amazing details. Was able to implement the concepts straight away.
best instructional I saw so far. I hated 50/50 before and awoided it by far. But Lachlans way of explaining, effort to search the right angle for better understanding, explaining again on the student doing the technique, linking techniques is awesome. 100% worth it and must have!!!
It's too much content, I'll have to admit. I don't think you can absorb every detail in one night. It's going to take time. But with that said, they're all worth it. With his PhD in the mechanics behind tissue atrophy, the biggest key to his leg locks is his mechanics of where to put the pressure to cause the breaking point. He must've studied leg anatomy in details to know where are its weak points, and put pressure there to cause breakage. If you think about it, leg is stronger than arm, and yet there's still weak points in it. Just like John Danaher, he'll give you scientific or logical reasoning behind his work, which will give you the concepts behind his leg locks, thus up your leg lock game with fundamental knowledge and strategy. Just, take it a bit at a time b/c it's a lot of material, for sure (like an encyclopedia).
Mind blowing details. Really elevated my game. I was terrible but now I understand why I was terrible
If you want to know all there is about heel hooking from 5050, get this instructional. If you want to be left behind and not know, then don't get it.
Wow. I have yet to come across a more thorough and detailed explanation about techniques. There is so much information that this really needs to be viewed in small bits so you can internalize it and work on incremental advancements. The pace is the right tempo so that you can understand as he goes. Thanks for such a great tutorial that will be very useful.
Lachlen Giles puts out some of the best, most comprehensive instructionals I have ever seen. He doesn't hold anything back and every second of his instructionals are full of detail. This is a must have for anyone into leg locks!
Video really helps me understand the small details that I miss during class.
Lachlan is an amazing teacher. One of the interesting things he does is has white belts try the moves he teacher throughout the series and then corrects them. I found this--even as a brown belt--to be exceptionally helpful. You can tell Lachlan spends a ton of time laying out his material before he films it, and thinks critically about how to explain which techniques in which order. All of this hard work pays off. The DVD is truly awesome.
Man guys lots of great details from this instructional, definitely recommend the basics first and this after, especially if you play an open guard game you will see that the opportunities for heel hook are endless, thank you soooooo much Giles, an absolute game changer. Now i have to get some of your other content because leg anthology truly opened my mind. 👍👍👍:joy::joy::joy:
This is my bible right now it will take me years to drill everything in this dvd set!
I’m pretty much staggered by how good this instructional is, the level of detail discussed and shown, and the way the whole subject is approached and broken down, it’s superb, and big thanks to LG for putting it together and passing on his knowledge.
Great material explained flawlessly- very informative with techniques and concepts I can easily add to my game. Thanks to Mr Giles and BJJ fanatics for another great instructional
Often a troubling position, now it’s a go to when I need to find the finish. Thank you or the knowledge.
So much information. Lachlan is one of the most scientific and descriptive teachers online. I’ve barely dived into the information and feel so lucky to have access to the innovations
This is excellent. I was mostly interested in the K-guard entries when I bought, but was really impressedby the whole system. The first two volumes move at a slow pace (a bit boring if you're familiar with heelhooks, but great if you're a beginner), but the later volumes are loaded with technique and details I haven't seen elsewhere. Overall a great and unique instructional.
Awesome content!

Must have if you want to be on the cutting edge of leg locks.
Amazing detail! Best instructional I've come across so far, and that's saying a lot
Lachlan's breakdowns of the controls, entries and breaking mechanics are absolutely world class. Worth every cent!
Amazing!!! excellent video instruction
This is the best instructional I've ever encountered. I had some issue with the DVDS and the customer service was amazing. I will definitely be coming back for more.
