I've seen some of these moves from very "old school" instructors, but was missing a lot of the details to pull them off. Excellent instructional
I feel like closed guard is often ignored in no gi, but this instructional does a great job of adapting a traditionally gi guard for no gi and even incorporates leg attacks
closed guard
Before this all I knew was triangle and armbar now I know there's loads to work on from closed guard.
clear and well paced
I found the videos in to be very Informative.
I've been a closed guard fan for my whole BJJ career. I wish this had been around when I started. It really lays out a good system for what is often considered an antiquated guard in competition grappling.
Excellent instructional
the JD videos teach more than a nice moves, he help you to see the bjj different and develope a sense more than a move or a game what is much more value. Sorry if my english its not the best. Hi from Costa Rica
high guard techniques
I edit each clip and section them off in small chunks. i label and categorize them by like techniques. Thank you John for your hard work, love and dedication.

new wave jiu jitsu: closed guard- building a complete closed guard system by John Danaher
Any Danaher video is worth it's money and will pay you back 10 fold in applicable knowledge.
This instructional is well structured by not only showing you in detail how to perform wach move but also how everything connects and leads seemlessly from one move to the next if things fail. Completely changed my approach to guard
Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As an avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, I have explored numerous resources to enhance my skills on the mat. However, none have come close to the transformative learning experience I've had with BJJFanatics.com. Among the treasure trove of high-quality instructional content, it's the teachings of Master John Danaher that have truly elevated my game to new heights. John Danaher's instructional series are a cut above the rest. His methodical approach, profound technical insights, and clear communication make even the most complex techniques accessible. The "Enter the System" and "Go Further Faster" series are nothing short of revolutionary, breaking down the art of BJJ into digestible segments that lead to rapid improvement. Thanks to John Danaher's guidance through BJJ Fanatics, my understanding of leverage, control, and submission has vastly improved. His strategic frameworks have not just taught me moves, but how to think about BJJ. Whether it's his detailed leg lock system or his precise take on back control, every lesson is packed with value. I am grateful to the BJJ Fanatics platform for providing access to such a masterful coach. John Danaher isn't just a coach; he's a BJJ philosopher whose teachings resonate beyond the mats. For anyone serious about upgrading their BJJ knowledge, I cannot recommend BJJ Fanatics enough. It's the gold standard for online BJJ instruction, and John Danaher is, without a doubt, the best jiu-jitsu coach ever. Thank you, BJJ Fanatics and John Danaher, for helping me level up in a way I never thought possible! ---

👍
So many great concepts and ideas for how to approach closed guard. No longer feel like I get stuck hitting a break wall.
There is so much information here in this 8 Volume Instructional. I was interested in the side scissor but there is so much more here to try and add to my game.
