great stuff

Great side control detail details specifically for no gi from John Danaher. He covers his main submission systems and it compliments Gordon Ryan’s material on side control as well.

Great
Great content
As always, Danaher gives you incredible details and explains the overall concepts that make everything work. He focuses on high-percentage moves and strategies - there are no flashy Instagram moves here. This isn’t for someone who wants a short, simple instructional.
This is easily my favorite John Danaher instructional. There is zero filler—every single volume in this series is incredibly useful and packed with crucial details. It completely changed how I approach top control and has become the absolute foundation of my game. If you want a truly systematic approach to side attacks rather than just a list of random submissions, this is a must-watch.
Once I started passing guard the natural progression was attacking from side control I bought this dvd to fast track that.. and it worked incredibly. Still one of my favourite dvds to this day.
Great
I have been focusing on this series for quite some time. It is a fantastic resource.

Very legit
Very good information and positions that let you control and submit very good grapplers.
I love the amount of specific instruction and detail that John uses. It can feel like too much at times, but it has also helped me to slow down my side control game a bit and focus more on tight control and setups.
This one’s the real deal. If you like your jiu jitsu pressure-heavy and technical, this’ll treat you right.
After watching Professor Danaher complete the succession of moves and breakdown the fundamentals of this ideology of the system, my success rate at my gym has completely improved. I am a 6’1 230 pound male. So side control has always been my go to position of control. Now in instead of just using my weight and strength to staple people down, I’m actually completing submissions on even higher belts than I.

Great for John a lot of information but great stuff
Great details as always worth the cost
What you would expect from John lots of details
Great stuff from John as always
Danaher is without peer in explaining the details of jiu jitsu, and this video is no exception. He clearly and concisely lays out a step by step plan of attacks from side control. Highly recommend.
