I understood him easily, but for there may be some who have difficulty understanding, but he shows the throw in different angles, to try to show his hand positioning.   Sensei Satoshi Ishii created a very sensible instructional about osoto gari. It us about solutions for open and closed stances also called opposite and same side stances. It is about utilizing it against oppinents same height/weight and taller/havier ones. He is explaining every technique step by step including solo demos. Highly recommend!!
