I’m always pleased when I purchase an instructional from Lachlan. I have been shying away from K guard for awhile and only recently started using it again after purchasing this series. I have been getting the entries more frequently and am getting close to more finishes. The instructional is very well laid out and Mr Giles breaks down the techniques very well.

I worked through most of the 3 part series and my open guard game improved a lot. I especially like the K guard instructional. The details are great and a great variety of entries, transitions and submissions are provided.

Teaching style is so good, with detailed descriptions and analysis of Lachlan's own rolling. Really has had a big impact on my own game. looking forward to purchasing volume 3

K guard is now a go to guard for me thanks to lachlan's instruction. It is a must have guard to know and incorporate into your game because it is accessible from all positions.

I have been spending a lot of time learning this form of guard. It is very fun, and beginner friendly. Lachlan spends most of the instructional addressing counters and how to maintain the position. There are actually only maybe two volumes of attacks from here. I think ultimately this is a good thing as you learn all of the counters to the counters you become very safe in this guard which is already a naturally safe guard to be in. I would highly recommend this instructional to anybody that wants to learn an outside position open guard and basic leg attacks from the guard.

For me, Lachlan Giles is one of the most articulate and engaging online teachers around - comprehensive without going too overboard and his techniques and style just resonates with me. If like me, you need to brush up on your K-guard then you won’t beat this instructional. Absolute bargain!

Lachy Giles is without question in my mind the best producer of instructionals out there. JD is thorough but sometimes a little waffles. every moment in LG stuff is great instruction. The K guard is a tricky one to master effectively but LG gives you the best chance with the detailed breakdown provided. get this and his other open guard content if you have desires to play a complete open guard game.
