Worth the money. Did a very good job explaining everything. 3+ hours long
I like the way it was structured and how I could tie it into my seat belt and crucifix series when they are trying to escape. It's got some good detail of various positions it can be hit from and used as a controlling position
Good stuff
I like the way it has been structured. Entries into it from various attacking and defending positions. Also using it as a controlling position where you can strike or attack the arm with submissions. It has some good details and is clearly taught. I've add it to my seat belt back control and crucifix game and I'm catching it more than I thought I would so I highly recommend this instructional so you too can add the reverse triangles into your game.
Combine this open guard series with Giles' guard retention anthology and escape fundamentals and you will quickly start frustrating the upper belts as they deal with your new powers. I enjoy playing a passing focused and half-guard game, but I've needed to work on my longer range options. This is the perfect place to start building that kind of game. Giles has the absolute best instructionals and this one is no different.
very good details in this instructional
I really like how straight to the point, yet detailed are the instructionals of Lachlan....I have learned a lot and applied it to my game
Very Good
Not friendly skill but useful and strong
Lachlan gives amazing instruction with an excellent structure of demonstration
Lachlan is a genius, one of the best around. great teacher, regular and relatable guy. and also a calm badass. he will show you some of the best techniques around, in a very modern game and, under a technical aspect, he set the bar for the instructional. the fighting intelligence this guy has is incredible.
Lachlan is a genius! Learn from one of the best!
I've always trained the gi and mainly focused on the gi, but I felt recently like learning no-gi and taking no-gi more serious. this instructional kick started my no-gi game and helped me get off to a running start. What Lachlan has taught me about K guard not only helped me in no-gi but also taught me new ideas and techniques to apply to the gi in different ways as well! fantastic instructional!
Everything lachlans produce's is spot on
Love lachlans k guard. Was a great purchase. Definitely buying all of his instructionals
I went to a gym where leg locks are used quite often. I struggled at first to adjust. This instructional helped me overcome that. Lachlan emphasizes the safety of outside positioning for leg attacks, to avoid getting your back taken. It also provides a solution to getting to the legs of bigger opponents who like to fight from the knees. His perspective on outside vs inside positioning helped quite a lot with guard retention as well.
Been a big fan of Lachlans instructionals, originally bought the leglock anthology where he touched on k guard so naturally I wanted to learn more. Been working on it the past few months and having a ton of fun with it. Definitely recommend!
Good stuff
I really enjoy how Lachlans DVDs flow together and build on each other to create an effective outside based game. This was a great purchase!
Very detailed and also more extensive than I expected (not just k guard but an overview of open guards and how k guards fits in).
Excellent content, Lachy explains details in a way that is easy to put into practice straight away.
Excellent tout est bien expliqué.
Lachlan Innovating As Always!!
