good material. good instructor. I would buy from him again. the deduction of stars is because it is too short. needs more materials.
Good adaptation of judo to nogi
I train judo and so was looking to adapt it to bjj. I train a lot of nogi so this is a shortcut to incorporating it into wrestling/grappling.
rick hawn no gi judo takedowns
good takedown instructions get good at these takedowns is all you need to go far in no gi grappleing
Solid Instruction
Rick does a great job of nailing some fundamental core principals of judo in NoGi. At first I wasn't sure how this would translate to my standup but after really starting to drive home the idea of kazushi and how it plays into your NoGi grips, the movements started to all connect and became easy to follow. Now I love playing with his throws and incorporating this into my standup. Definetly recommend for anyone wanting to incorporate more judo into their NoGi game.
my favorite instructional
found my new favorite takedown with this video!!

Easy Game
I liked this one a lot. It wasn't super complicated and the course was short. But it showed me an easy game to take the fight to the floor.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:My first and favourite no gi takediwn instructional
some great sweeps - absolute bargain
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Concise and in nutshell
Rick Hawn shows all the relevant take downs in the most simplest forms. As the topic of take down is so vast, he pin points the essentials to get yourself going. I would recommend this as a begineer course to get started but still has a lot of advanced stuff in it.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great principles for standing grappling.
Great principles for standing grappling. Great techniques for takedowns that are efficient.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Nogi Takedowns with a Judo Approach
I purchased this when it first came out, and it was my first nogi instructional that focused on takedowns. It's a good system for someone that is new to nogi takedowns and who doesn't have a wrestling or judo background.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Title is content - 100 %
Fundamental takedowns with high percentage set ups! Broken down in an easy to get manner. Rwcommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great techniques and he gets right to the point
If you like instructionals that get right to the point, this is a great one with many takedowns taught. A little background and experience is helpful, like knowing the importance of Kuzushi in setups. As I’ve progressed in my grappling skills, I’ve come back to study and I learn more details each time I do this. It’s a great reference to have!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Well Explained
Very well explained, wish it had more content though.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Nice overview of no-gi judo
This is a good overview of no-gi judo for BJJ and also MMA. Rick Hawn gives a lot of good details on a variety of judo throws.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:No Gi basics

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Looks good
