I really like the counter mechanism that were teached in this instructional. Great stuff.
Great video by CJ. Super informative and easy to understand. Pretty fun to mess around in training with.
It works and I’m impressed.
Great game to play from Craig
Octopus Guard 2.0 vary wall exlpaned, with al lot nes staff and useflull ditails
This has some great info. I'm newer to BJJ but still the concepts are great.
It’s a fun watch picked up a few good detail
It's great love it
Overall a good mix of Octopus and Turtle options that Craig shows, building off of the 1st instructional.
Lots of interesting ideas that are contrary to standard BJJ but it felt underwhelming compared to other CJ instructionals at the same price point. Felt like the amount of realistically useable content was lower than others and closer to 1.0, which I felt was easier to implement and I still use it more frequently than 2.0.
This is not a traditional instructional or octopus guard. It’s unique and fun to watch. My only wish is that it had more of the traditional octopus guard but I guess that’s why it’s “2.0”.
Brilliant better than the 1st one
I learned a lot and it gave my game some new moves
I was lucky enough to catch this on sale and it's been a trove in new info and outlooks. Would recommend.
This is good stuff and works on higher belts
This guy is so creative with these set ups. I've been using one of these set up for a couple of years now and if Craig is using it I must be on the right path lol.
Great video, great insight
A bit different from than your typical octopus as this instructional is based primarily from side control. There is most definitely a learning curve . It’s a very reactive position with no time to think . The positive is the technique is very simple. It will take some reps to hit the sweeps with a decent percentage just be prepared for the back takes and darces. I would have like to have seen a section of just sparring/roll analysis. I would buy it again and do recommend it for anybody that’s a fan of octopus.
So stoked I got this for less than $50 and have started to implementing the guard already. 4 days after purchasing. Even better, I show up to no gi and they are literally teaching octopus guard 2.0. So excited to keep learning and growing.
Great instructional, really valued it after watching the first Octopus one he came out with. Added a lot.
I purchased the original Octopus guard dvd back in 2023 and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I bought this one to compare what updated technology had been developed. I liked this DVD but noticed that the approach on this one was more of a counter guard when trapped in bottom side control / turtle. I like the chaos it can bring in a scramble.
As usual Craig has done a great job of breaking down a position in this sport that needed some imagination and creativity. Haven't been darced since evening watching his sample on YouTube
lots of details i have never considered
オクトパスガードが進化しました。
This dvd is absolute trash and I love it. Putting yourself in bad positions then laughing after you sweep them is priceless!! It’s fun to train!
