• Brilliant overview of the modern open guard game

  The start of Ari's gi open guard system. Lots of great details on how to play the variations of collar sleeve and double sleeve. Suitable for beginners but in depth enough that black belts will surely get a lot from it. Should be watched in conjunction with his lower body guard instructionals.

  The level of detail of this instructional is insane, and probably a good bit too advanced for me right now. Would not recommend for beginners but I will definitely come back to this when I have more open guard experience, I can see this being a resource that you get use of for a long time.
