Excellent.
Jason covered everything I wanted to know to get started with outside passing
loved this
this content is great and I use it as an instructor during classes
I'm a big fan of Jason Rau's instructional videos, I've found them to be consistently excellent. Jason's instructional videos are clear and concise. While he doesn't cover every option exhaustively, his systems are complete in the sense that everything you need is covered, and everything covered is needed. Just simple, robust systems based on the most effective movement patterns. This is an excellent series which has helped me to improve my outside passing. I would also recommend Jason's other passing series (half guard passing, split squat passing and headquarters), which complement this release and help to give a more complete understanding of NoGi passing. I'm looking forward to studying his new series on combining inside and outside passing.
Rau’s intructionals are top tier. This one has been very helpful
A nice series that's main focus is outside passing.
Anything from Jason is gold, changed my passing game

Put the gloriousness down on my homies
If you’re interested in J point camping or Gordon Ryan’s style of outside camping then watch this. You will gain a deep insight into what these high level players are doing.
Short sweet and straight to the point. Get this instructional if you want to take your passing to the next level.
This is very good and immediately useful information distilled down into relatively short lessons. If you are struggling with your outside passing or want to learn this is as good as you will find.
No Fluff, No Flash—Just Passes That Actually Work Jason Rau’s Outside Passing is like that quiet guy at the gym who doesn’t say much… then folds everyone in the room. This instructional is straight to the point, no wasted words, and packed with solid, repeatable techniques that made me stop bullfighting like a confused matador and actually start passing guard like I know what I’m doing. What I loved: No unnecessary filler—just clean mechanics, smart angles, and passes that work even when your knees sound like bubble wrap. Rau’s teaching style is calm, clear, and confident. No hype—just high-level jiu-jitsu delivered in a chill voice that made me believe I could outside pass someone someday. Great mix of theory and application. He shows how to manage distance, bait reactions, and glide around guard players like a ninja in slow motion. At 50, I’m not diving headfirst into toreando wars like I used to (okay, I never did), but Rau’s outside passing game gave me a way to stay technical, efficient, and look like I meant to do that the whole time. Highly recommended if you’re tired of guard players wrapping you up like a burrito and want a game that keeps you in control without needing to be a human highlight reel.

good
Excellent instructional from the greatest player you might have never seen. Broad overview of the various application of technique from a variety of different scenarios without being dull and trying to make things overly complex for the sake of it.
