Detailed Instructional on Neck Locks
Championship Catch Wrestling: Neck Locks by Josh Barnett
Neck locks and cranks are on the menu in this instructional from Josh Barnett. Josh explains the mechanics of the ideal position and grips to secure grovits, cranks and head/neck locks from a variety of positions most suited to the technique at hand. His explanations are simple and delivered succinctly, without waffling, and shows you what you need to see. The devil is in the detail and Josh does well to cover the important nuances, as well as showcase a wide range of locks to try out on the mat. This has improved some of the techniques I was a bit rusty on and showed me plenty of new ways to attack the neck.

One thing I like is shorter transitions between segments than his open guard instructional. As usual, comprehensive and detailed. Especially like the shoulder crunch and Choi bar material
Kesa game
Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
I loved this position when I was a white belt. But when I became a blue belt I was being rolled over alot...thanks to Bricks Kesa game I realized it was all because of my leg positioning
Kesa King
Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
I didn't think it was possible to tap people with pressure. Kesa puts that slow drain on your soul. After trying everything you can think of technically, then attempting a couple white belt explosions, you start to come to terms with your own demise. You'll ask yourself, "Im not going to tap to pressure with all these people watching am I?" You are stuck and the ego is drowning in all of it's excuses. The truth is just 2 taps away.

This System is Very Effective
Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
I train with Jeremy in Kansas City and he knows and implements this position at a world class level. I’ve been underneath him, stuck in Kesa, and tapping for what feels like hundreds of rolls. As a result, I can attest to the system’s effectiveness and Jeremy’s ability to explain his system (I’ve started to implement it in my game successfully as well). I would highly recommend this tutorial and can also vouch that your money is going to a top notch competitor and person.

Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
I have loved this spot in jiu jitsu for awhile when I was a white belt. But I noticed when becoming a blue belt that I was getting rolled over. I understand now thanks to Bricks Kesa system that my leg positioning was all wrong.
A decade of prep for this.
Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
I’ve attended this seminar in person. I’ve also observed Jeremy’s BJJ at tournaments all over the country. I’ve competed in 6 grand slams, he was winning his brackets at all of them while I was merely competing. Since attending this seminar, my classmate and I continue to teach this to our training partners months later. Our conmunity’s kesa has improved across the board.

Pressure!!
Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
I love Jeremy’s kesa. If you’ve ever had it done to you you’ll know how efficient it is. Makes you want to pressure tap and if you can withstand that then there’s a whole series of other submissions.
