Absolutely effective and practical! I love learning from Freddy because he is an actual cop and has used these techniques in the field. I love his use of the kimura. Simpler than gst.
Sensei Trillo went above and beyond on the second video. This is a follow up to his first video that goes into basics. Myself I come from a law enforcement background serving 11 years in a maximum prison. All these tactics have been proven effective and I have used them in live uses of force for restraint. If your job is law enforcement in any form, I urge you to invest in both of Trillo’s work. If you have no knowledge, this will make you capable. If you have experience in submission grappling or wrestling, this will help you utilize your previous skillset into your profession If you have grappling and Leo experience, this knowledge will make you a needed asset to your force. I feel this is a must.
I like all the takedowns and control that this instructional provides. I have used a few controlling techniques on the job already! What I like about Officer Trillo, is that what he is teaching, he has personally used on the job and that says a lot about both the person teaching and what is being taught, especially if it works, and it does!
Very appreciative of Freddy Trillo for sharing off his knowledge/skills to other LEO’s out there that don’t get proper training… “double wrist locks” and the quick shoulder lock takedowns are simple and very effective (especially under stress). Thank you!
