  Ed Ruth shows how to set up and finish double legs and single legs straight away and when the guy is sprawling on you. He gives angle changes and gripping variations to get it done. Furthermore you get some great counters when the guy is trying to to hit a takedown on you.. Step by step and the order of the techniques matches a logical follow up. • One of the best-value takedown instructionals available

  This is definitely one of the shorter takedown instructionals on here- that being said, you get a lot of bang for your buck. You're getting the techniques that Ed Ruth personally favored and his own tips and tricks for executing them- it's not necessarily a comprehensive system, but if you want to incorporate any of these techniques into your game, it's 100% worth watching this to get insight into how one of the greats used them. I especially appreciated how he takes the time to go over setups- against a competent opponent, that's more than half the battle. Would highly recommend for beginning wrestlers and those looking to touch up their game.

• 13 Year Coach, I found stuff for all my kids

  This video has great teaching points. i feel this is a perfect blend of fine tuning for advanced guys needing an edge. And beginners having trouble getting the flow of the move.... Ed is ambidextrous, hits the moves on both sides for the camera... awesome!

  This is an absurdly good value. This instructional has helped me sooooo much. It's one thing to takedown jiujitsu guys, but it's quite another to takedown college wrestlers, and Ed Ruth has been instrumental in me doing just that. Thank you for upping my game by leaps and bounds.
