Very solid for students or coaches
Very detailed, well explained techniques, suitable to people with no wrestling background.
Another masterclass from John Danaher. This is a comprehensive review of the no-gi standing position. This instructional can take you to a next level standing grappler no matter your starting skill level.
Game changer for me! Exceptional like all other Prof Danaher videos
Phenomenal just like all other Prof Danaher videos!
Danaher does it again.. how can one man know so much technical info. 10 videos chock full of a lot of information
This series goes well the the Fastest Way Takedown series. Both are pretty long, and you can watch it on a faster speed to get through all of the material.
Great moves to work on.
So worth it
Excellent details on takedowns
Good takedowns that work for BJJ but outside the insights are helpful
If you´re new or an expert.. I think that this course covers almost everything for everyone.

Good stuff
Highly recommended as an intro to the rest of danahers standing system
Great instructional
This is a great instructional for submission grappling instructionals. If you are just going to get one, get his fastest way takedown instructional. But if you want to build a very broad understanding of the standing game, and have a solid system to work from, you can get this 3 part series. It is great and has all the content to make you competitive with anyone in a submission grappling context if you master all the material.
I’ve been watching takedown videos for years to support my son’s wrestling journey. While I originally bought this video for my own training, I have to say—John has taught me more about how to help my son improve his takedowns than any other video or series I’ve seen.
Great course for improving takedowns! Takedowns have always been a weakness for me, but this course offers so many different approaches that even an old-timer like me can find techniques that work. Highly recommended!
I wrestled from age 5-present (24) and am currently a high school wrestling coach and I've learned things in this video that nobody else has taught me in all my years of wrestling. Danaher does an incredible job of lying out not only the technique in a way that is easy to digest and apply, but more importantly the why you would do one thing as opposed to another. Whether you have no feet to floor experience or you've wrestled our whole life, this instructional has something to offer you, this I am sure of.
really good for basic understanding
This instructional will improve your stand up game for sure if you apply it lessons and drill the techniques.
Great instructions!
Fundamentally changed how I approach wrestling and takedowns. exceptional content like all other Prof Danaher videoes.
great detail as always
