• Great overview

  This is one of the few instructionals I’ve watched from start to finish. Obviously this has been battle-tested and Marcelo has the right balance of detail for me. There’s enough here to bring this into my game without it feeling like I’m listening to a PhD dissertation with so much detail that I can’t remember much. This is now one of my more reliable submissions and one that really suits an old guy trying to stay away from leg locks.

  This isn't the most popular choke, but once you tune up the finishing mechanics and start to see where to hit it, it's everywhere. This instructional shows where those opportunities are as well as how to recognize them when rolling. I keep coming back to it because it's a deceptively detailed choke and somewhere in here is the answer I need. This, like all the best instructionals, is one that I always find gems in regardless of how many times I rewatch, repeat and rewind.
