Very nice instructional
Excellent maps for modern guard passing

This instructional is great and I want to quickly address my review title. I say this instructional is niche because it only focuses on the passing methods John believes are the easiest to learn in a short amount of time to see good results in a speedy fashion. Like his standing2ground and feet to floor instructionals, he isn't covering the entire ocean of techniques in the video topic (here guard passing). For example you won't get a lot of headquarters or inside hamstring passing here. Rather you get a gameplan from the perspective of a new student looking to get good at passing very quickly. This usually means funnelling your passing efforts into forcing and then passing the half guard, although other passes such as body locks, tripod float passes, and concepts such as camping and using mobility passes to take initiative and constantly threaten your opponents J point are also included, and in great detail. Overall this is an excellent and highly, highly detailed instructional as all of Danahers are. My only word of warning would be to anyone looking for a comprehensive guide to every style of passing, because this isn't it. You won't learn the ins and outs of every style of pass here, but if you're looking to get good quick, or otherwise if you've looked at the contents page and you already use some of these techniques and want to go into greater detail on them, I can't recommend enough.
This course is the real deal. Every second of this course is full of golden nuggets. I definitely saw improvements in my guard passing game.
a lot of awesome details in this instructional. usually Danaher videos are about 8-10 hrs in length but this one is less 4 hrs in total. this format is phenomenal.

Amazing content, 100% recomended
Straight to the point, and good for anyone from beginner to advanced.
I have watched already the other guard passing videos from j danaher, but every time I learn new things or deepen my understanding. Main topics what I learned: half guard passing without underhooks, Tripod passing, camping theory and workload increase for opponent, refined body lock technique, focus on less but high percentage techniques, hand block pass, pop up pass, reverse scoop to counter retention from north south, high leg methods and much more...
Excellent intense focus on guard passing
Improve my guard passing
Very comprehensive guide. A lot of drilling to be done
Where's the mute button for the camera man? That dude's regular burping, yawning, and sighing killed the quality of this video. Danaher and Placido, on the other hand, put on another solid show. Everything that duo puts out is gold.
Killer instructional. John is a Mastermind.
Very well structured and easy to digest. Greatly improved my game - have found myself getting into winning positions more frequently and sharpening those skills as well.
A vast, systematic compendium on passing the guard. Danaher's new products are much better than the older material, his speech delivery is much more concise. This can shave years off of learning how to approach and pass guards.
simple and strong skill with his detail explanation
