Helped me a lot improving my game. Goes over all important concepts and does a lot of troubleshooting for the most common situations
I love the app, still waiting for it to be available on fire TV
excellent value
There is so much in this instructional that half would be enough! I have gained a great understanding of the half guard as a whole. And it is very well put together so that you can easily find what thing you are looking for. Because it is vast in scope and in knowledge.
Lachlan is one of the top grapplers of our time. The instructions are clear and concise. The skills you take away from this series will translate into a lifetime of success. Money well spent again at BJJFanatics!
Lachlans instructionals are excellent, you can’t go wrong. Very well organized, great details, clear communication. I especially like how this instructional has slow motion replays at the end of a section, it really helps anchor in the details. Good live roll breakdowns. I’m loving this as I recover from ACL injury, this will be my system as I return. Highly recommend.
Lachlan Giles is a genius.
Got this as a white belt and completely started dominating all other white and blue belts at the gym with these techniques
Incredibly explained done very methodically
Strongly recommend

Engaging instructional covering a range of scenarios and demonstration of use in live rolling.
Each variation of half guard is explained well with problem solving and live rolling examples. What really helped me was seeing how the different types of half guard connect to and reinforce each other. Highly recommend for anyone that plays half guard.
Lachlan gives you a crazy amount of knowledge for a ridiculous price. A steal. If I would recommend one instruction on the whole site (value per money) it should be this one.
This was the first instructional I bought in 2019. Lachlan Giles is an amazing teacher, and his instructionals have a high production value, with tons of details. What I especially liked about this instructional, is that Lachlan doesn't only show half guard positions, but also related positions, such as sit-up guard and reverse de la riva. I also really liked the chapters on how to get back to half guard from bad positions. Amazing instructional that I recommend to everyone.
Extremely detailed instruction from a world-class competitor and teacher.
very good
Lachlan's teaching style is in depth without being long winded. I find myself in half guard all the time and I've been using this to figure out how to recover from bad half guard positions to positive ones. Each section includes great details on the techniques and narrated rolling footage to show how they're used in practice.
Giles does a great job of explaining the positions to be easily understood. I love how the video is broken up into smaller sections so specific techniques are easier to find.
Used this as a guide to get started. Still sometimes find myself picking up gems 2 years later
Top instructional A very MUST HAVE. Nothing else!
I have to say this is one of the best half guard dvds out there. One of the rare dvds that I watched from beginning to end. Very detailed and love the concepts. A must have for any half guard player.
Really good
