  Incredibly useful. This covers some of the overall principles of half guard play which are hard to get from watching youtube videos that focus on one sweep/attack at a time. I also really appreciate narrated rolling sections, I have learned from them much more than I thought I would.

  Lachlan covers the high knee shield half guard really well, with the primary focus on underhook half guard. Very detailed and goes over their reactions. Works gi and nogi. This was the first instructional I ever picked up and got me hooked on them. I think Gordon Ryan’s is better but that’s subjective and much more expensive, so this is a great budget option and compliment to it.
