Essential for anyone looking to improve their half guard
Even though I train in the gi more, the fundamentals of this instructional have been so useful when i've found myself in half guard. If you're struggling in half guard, get this its brilliant.

This is literally a half-guard encyclopedia, it covers everything from A to Z. Even it is really 11 hours long, Lachlan never repeats himself along the course, great buy!

I've tried several instructors and Lachlan may be my favorite. Doesn't go into the depth of Danaher but still has some important tips that Danaher left out. Also covers a wider range of approaches and does well at balancing depth and getting to the point.

Being a white belt the video structure is great because he starts very basic with just getting to half guard and progress from there. I also really appreciate the slow motion replays and live roll footage, really brings it full circle.

Unbelievable amount of content. Im a big half guard guy and this is an essential intructional if you want to improve in the position of Kings. Sooo much stuff on here...i was waiting for half guarch against multiple attackers so i can shut up the street fighters at work...hopefully Lachlan will include that in a later volume.

Lachlan has a great teaching style, and the videos are easy to follow along with and contain practical material. This was a great introduction to half-guard, and will serve as a good reference as well. Strongly recommend.

The easy to follow instructions, as well as the video examples, helped me to pick up a number of new techniques to try and has allowed me to get a number of submissions from the position while rolling!

At the price this is a steal. Lachlan's instructions are always comprehensive, but clear and to the point.

For anywhere NEAR the range of 100$, this series is an unbelievable bargain. It's the equivalent of getting a pro-class one-on-one, which can easily cost you 100$ an HOUR. You'll need a willing partner, of course. I can say my half-guard game didn't just improve... It's now the dominant aspect of my game. And I've only watched the first 5 videos! After spending about 8 months going over them in detail, and making it a point to drill at least one of the techniques in every session, my game has transformed. I feel like I can grapple guys at any level and hold my own. This was the missing link; it's the aspect of my game I didn't realize needed so much improvement. Thanks Lachlan, I feel like I still owe you.

If you wanna be an assassin from the half guard position this is the series for you! Lachlan had a way of breaking down techniques and making them easier to understand. The details make all the difference and this series has no shortage of details. The video quality is good and his teaching approach is excellent!

This was my first time buying an instructional, I thought it would be the size of a movie or something. It is ten hours long, so you are getting a lot for your money. I am two hours in now and it is an awesome instructional.
