He did it again, 11 hours of highly educational content. Do I need to hear about kimuras for that long? Yes, BJJ is really that complicated. You must be properly educated in order to effectively think for yourself. I like his new soundtrack too. Highly recommended, includes many cool tips for reverse triangles.

Lachlan advises not to watch his instructionals straight through, but it's hard not to; this one is just beautiful. Having watched many of his instructionals over the years, it's a treat to see how much he and his team have grown in the production quality. An outstanding product about the kimura from basically everywhere. If you can only have one on the topic, it's hard not to pick this one (and that's coming from a Danaher fan!).

This video is more expensive than many of Lachlan Giles', but you can see the huge effort that has gone in to making it. The instructional is equally as encyclopedic as many of his earlier videos, but the organisation is much easier to follow. * Much better camera and lighting than even a Danaher video * Very good and clear sound * Solidly edited * Appropriate Closeups * Gi and no-gi in the same instructional. The two are seamlessly edited together. * Contrasting Gi and Rashguards in every take. He's thought about this. * Highlighted chapter headings at the start of each clip so you can tell where you are. He follows this with a brief clip of the move, so you know if you have found the right place. * Encyclopedic coverage in a straightforward layout * Rolling footage interspersed with multiple angle takes of the full move at the end of each tutorial * Lachlan Giles doesn't repeat himself unnecessarily, but he does recap a bit more in this video, which is great. Very easy to follow in contrast to some of the earlier, denser stuff. This is definitely the best instructional I own in terms of quality. Giles has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about what makes a good instructional, and it really shows in this product.

I had a pretty solid Kimura Trap game prior to this series, But I really leveled up several steps almost overnight with Lachlans videos, He covers the problems and sticking points that I’ve been having for quite awhile now and provides alternatives and solutions for those times where you have the kimura- but cant finish due to weak or poor positioning. All the escapes my training partners had like going flat- are now gone and they don’t know what to do or how to get away. Really well done series- easy to watch and apply, well worth it if you love the trap:)

This is one of the best, if not the best kimura instructional on the internet Lachlan is very succinct and to the point when teaching/demonstrating technique I highly recommend this series to anyone who uses the kimura/kimura trap in their game

I've always played a bit of kimura trap but wanted to make my application of this part of jiu-jitsu more varied. This instructional has already helped me improve my controls and hit submissions from seemingly nowhere. I've had a few of my training partners comment on how my kimura game is developing.
