Professor Tom DeBlass provided a step by step manual of how to set up and utilize the lock down to slow the game down to your favor and hit sweeps and submissions. He points out common mistakes and misunderstandings and shows how to avoid. I personally use it as a back up plan for my half guard game and it really supports because of this instructional!!

Lockdown an half guard has alway been my A game. This brings a different perspective that I really enjoy an his explanation of the technique is on point. So for a beginner this is a perfect introduction into the lockdown system, or for the advanced it adds more to your game.
