This is a great starter video.. well worth for the money. there are other videos out there will more detailed instructions.
Found his insight helpful and hope to incorporate some of this in to my rolls
His advice on how to continue to play as an older grappler is golden. I have been able to translate his concepts into my rolls and they are effective.
Tom does an excellent job teaching and linking all of his material together to make it a complete package for the older players.
This is a great instructional on how to last against those stronger and faster as someone who has multiple surgeries and little slower this dvd is a lifesaver!
Super helpful
Sacadas muito boas.
Excellent material for a 50+ grappler like myself. Lots of gold nuggets here, highly recommended.
As an older BJJ player, I needed something to help nullify younger, faster opponents. ‘Tis definately helps. Much recommended.
Enjoyed it as a part time practitioner and full time blue collar worker.
Nice details
Really great information
Very good, doesnt rely on strength or athletisicm
In addition to the main parts of the course, Tom includes good nuggets of wisdom.
Besides the specifics of techniques, I feel like there is a lot of general BJJ wisdom that Tom adds throughout this course.
As always Tom breaks down technique with the right balance of instruction. Enough to understand and apply and not so much that I get bored and stop listening
Tom never disappoints. This is an informal, conceptual approach to BJJ for the older student.
Didn't want to admit that I'm not able to fight to the death every time I roll and no hurt like **** the next day, But 45 isn't the same as 25. Lots of useful stuff to make life easier as an older player. Great stuff.
Awesome. Would buy again
All the techniques shown were non explosive type techniques. Tom gives a good pep talk, helps keeps things in perspective. I just wish there were more techniques shown in this instructional.
Laid back instruction but with good detail on positions you find yourself in with every roll
Excellent teacher. Find mysel saying " yeah that happens to me a lot" as a late practitioner. Good answers to situations.
half guard
Awesome video. Learned some great tips for dealing with younger, faster training partners. I’ve already been able to implement some of the things I’ve learned into my training.
Overall tips for mid age guys, going beyond only techniques, but also fitness and recovery
