  This video is mostly niche guillotine chokes. It is great if you love chokes or if your opponents are getting too good at defending your arm in guillotines.

  You're never gonna lose with a Melanson instructional, and this Modified Guillotine is no different. Neil goes in-depth into a lot of his signature chokes, like the handgun, the "twisted fister", and his own take on the high-elbow--great chokes for over-the-hill grapplers like myself who aren't as athletic, explosive, or agile as many of our younger training partners. The best thing about any Melanson instructional is you're always going to get greater takeaways than the techniques themselves--Neil constantly drops gems about tactics, strategy, and concepts that will help your entire game. He's the best. Buy all his ****.

• Cheat code for BJJ

  So I have been working the material in this instructional the past couple of months and it is nothing less than a series of cheat codes for winning in grappling! These chokes allow to submit and win scrambles in a way that will transform your game. They can be used for counter-wrestling, passing, guard and any scramble really. They also offer the advantage of surprise due to their unconventional nature. Absolutely awesome stuff from Neil, thanks!

• Neil always delivers!

  I recently went to a seminar with Neil and the Handgun Choke was one of the items he went over in detail. This instructional actually has more info then the seminar did! Great detail on all the chokes in this instructional and they can be put into your game very quickly.
