This video has really helped helped my game in terms of philosophy when I roll and train. Gordon’s teaching style is easy to follow. It’s a good video for any level.
Great purchase for sure. Clear and detailed instruction that even a higher level upper belt can learn a lot from. I’ve been putting these techniques and details into my training after only 1 day of study. Details for pin escapes and fundamental concept of dominating the inside position have helped me out a lot already. Really glad I made this purchase.
Gordon is the king for a reason. He always puts out the best instructionals and this no exception. His pillars of defense: pin escapes series is absolutely crucial to those just starting and even those more seasoned on the mats 11/10 would recommend.
Great detail and concepts that chain together with his other instructionals.
Great stuff!
Excellent details
GORDON RYAN!!
Great Content as always!!!!
I've purchased around ten different instructionals on escapes from BJJ Fanatics. This is by far the most comprehensive pin escape instructional on the market. If you're just getting started I would recommend John Danaher's pin escape instructional in the Gi. However, with that said there's nothing else like this product on the market. Highly recommend.
his best DVD yet!
Gordon explains how to escape from anywhere and instantly go on the attack, so you don’t get stuck in cycles of defence. Brilliantly explained as usual! Thanks Gordon 👍
I watched this along with John's Pin escapes. The crazy thing Gordan teaches different escapes. His teaching style works so well you can watch this and apply it. I been using side guard so much that I learned new positions and escapes I haven't even drilled. Thanks KING
Improved my game immediately. I enjoy getting pinned now, albeit briefly.:joy:
Great video tutorial so many details, wich make all the difference. So Many positions to learn and so basic you can perform them in your next Jiujitsu class. So happy.
Another excellent series from Gordon. He continues to put out the highest quality content of any athlete.
Great
Awesome material! Everything is broken down into precision movements, scenarios, and positions! I’ve already put into practice some of the material and can already notice an improvement!
This is another very good addition to Gordon’s series. The explanations and material are top notch. No matter what’s your level of training, you will definitely learn something from this instructional.
good
This has improved my defense pretty drastically. I’ve bought more of Danahers than Gordon’s since I do more Gi than NoGi, I was a little skeptical if Gordon’s instructionals would apply but surely enough everything has been a game changer.
Very insightful instructional. Already seeing improvements in my game during sparring.
The knee-to-elbow concept has changed my entire game for the better!
Gordon Ryan has beautifully explained the system of high-level guard retention in this series.
Great material. Easy explanations the training video quality is good as well.
Covers a range of positions and lays out strategies and the thought process to escape each position. Gordon then covers what to do if your opponent reacts a certain way. Great mix of technique and concepts
