• Choke em out!

  I'm a big dude 6'4, 250 lbs. I love neil's stuff, it's great, informative and feels like it's made for us heavyweights. I have purchased his books on triangle chokes, this is that book but so much more. It's great if you're having a hard time setting up, applying the choke or finishing off a ****. Worth the full price and then some.

• Triangles for days

  Neil Melanson is my favorite instructor and he takes his time giving you every detail you need to be successful. As man with short legs, triangles are not my go to submission, but with the information in this instructional I’ve gained confidence and improved my success rate with triangle submissions.

  Coach Neil returns with a badass instructional on set ups for triangles from guard, and it is worth diamonds. Filtered through the Ground Marshal's years of experience in mma and hybrid grappling arts, it is chock full of knowhow and insights that can really up your mat IQ while helping you develop a fearsome triangles game. I have studied (and continue to study) several triangles instructionals also from BJJ Fanatics, drilled or executed close to 1000 triangle attack sequences since 2022 started; in my opinion, Neil's "Science of Filthy Triangles" stands out in its sophistication on the one hand but savagery on the other. Take one of the sequences for example: in the Half Stock Senkaku attack sequence, you'll learn to string up a series of moves that include posture imbalancing, distance control, a scissor sweep, a guillotine threat, a reverse armlock, an inverted triangle (and by Neil's logic, a kimura follow up should you mess up the triangle, but also possibly another sweep) all in one. This is definitely an advanced triangles instructional! If you want to be a sophisticated savage on the mats with a dangerous triangles or even just bottom game, this is a title that you'll sorely regret to miss.
