Great forces kimura gameplay!
This series deals primarily with Rafael Lovato's preferred place to attack the kimura, from the north south position with the opponent's head under both your legs. I was impressed by the quality of the instruction overall, and I especially like the depth he went into on how to shut down the opponent's free arm with your legs while attacking the kimura on the other arm. Shutting down defenses is often glossed over or taken for granted in other instructionals and I like how Rafael did a deep dive on this.
Great kimura video. The head and arm ezekiel is the killer app
Lovato is always a clear, detailed and systematic teacher. This is an excellent foundation for a kimura game from side control.
Timeless Kimura is a great breakdown of how to use the kimura. Tips on finishing and setting up other attacks.
Loved it!
So many great details. Used them the next trip on the matts. So much knowledge! Looking at the other videos inthe series.
Simple great!
This is an extremely detailed explanation of a key Ude Garami (Kimura) concept for particularly side control. Like all good techniques it not only details the actual finish but also the minute details important when dealing with ‘bruisers’ eg the insertion of the fingers inside the opponent’s closed fist on the belt and subsequent grips ie thumb out. Sad for me as an old style Kosen Judo guy to see this excellent presentation when compared with some of the Judo presentations on the same topic. Could be an adjunct to Side Control. I particularly relate to the careful positioning and then the explosive action (and what to do if that doesn’t work!!). Simply first class! 😀😀
