Very informative for older people, would recommend!
Very informative and practical, I am a big fan of John and Bernardo. In hindsight, I wish I only bought their tapes.
.
this includes a practical series of sweeps and escape options that I can tailor to my body type and experience level
I purchased a video series and for whatever reason I couldn't gain access to the material. I called and emailed customer support for assistance. BJJ Fanatics support came through big time! They were so helpful and gracious! Awesome to work with them
Great! What I need.
Danaher. Timeless
Once again, a very good instructional video from John Danaher. Good advice from him on how to roll with younger and more athletic teammates, but I know it is not going to be easy :) Still, it is worth spending the time watching this a couple of times and drilling it.
Another thorough, detailed, complete system from Danaher. Immediate change in bottom position philosophies
This is the first course I purchased from Mr Danaher, and I'm happy to say it was everything I wished for and more. Excellent selection of techniques for older grapplers. As a purple belt I was already somewhat familiar with some of the material, but still found many extremely valuable details to increase my effectiveness. I also love Mr Danaher's continual reinforcing of important concepts, as well as the way different sections are interlinked - for example, always escaping to half guard/knee shield, which ties in perfectly with the preferred attacks from bottom position.
I'm not even "older and unathletic"... but this series is making my bjj way more efficient and effective.
highly recommend this as an aging purple belt trying to stay in the game.
jd is the best coach across any sport. depth of knowledge and instruction is the absolutely incredible
Tons of info
This instructional really does well in making sure all possible questions are answered before they would be asked. So much detail, yet very easy to understand.
Great sequel of the go further faster series with great details of how to increase your gripfighting and control over your oponent to sliw down and hit your attacks. Strategicaly and technicaly speaking. Anothee absolute Must Have!!
I watched all of Danaher's Gi instructionals and whislt some of these technique appear in earlier releases, i like the structure of this instructional because it condenses the concepts into a more taqctic strategic framework.
Just focusing on this instructional and top game one could probably be enough for you to learn and enjoy Jiu Jitsu while being effective against younger people. My only concern has nothing to do with Danaher and his instructional, and it's the sound quality which could be managed better by an audio engineer before publishing the product. It sounds low quality, and too boomy.
Another fantastic instructional by Professor Danaher and BJJ Fanatics!!!
love all my instructional videos
I enjoy both the technique and the teaching method
I am a 63 y/o, 100% Combat DAV who happens to fit both criteria- older and less athletic. This series has taught me how to roll with and submit younger fitter opponents/ team mates. I'm begininng to become a problem with my half guard and leg riding and it is enjoyable. Slowing down younger and stronger opponents is exactly what this series delivers, in spades! Proffessor John, for all of the older, road worn BJJ practioners, a heartfelt "THANK YOU!" is well deserved. Keep up the Great Work!
I'm really a fan of John "The Surgeon" Danaher's videos. He would never have competed, but he very much deserves to have this nickname. Thank you Doctor for everything you do for us!
Perfect Videos.
Never Disapoints. Every video levels up my game and provides a conceptual way to problem solve. This one will help anyone against stronger, more athletic opponents.
