Another outstanding series by Professor Danaher. Couldn't recommend more strongly to those who want to understand not just the how but the why b
John Danaher’s Ageless Jiu Jitsu brilliantly breaks down No-Gi top game strategies for older or less athletic practitioners. His detailed instruction makes high-level grappling accessible to everyone.
Danaher puts together a great instructional for a top game player in a more concise way than usually and with emphasis on the techniques that help one control and exhaust their opponent's without draining too much energy. Highly recommended.
Despite being marketed for older lots of athletes may benefit from this DVD. It's virtually condensed Danaher's top game that has a lot in common with his other more detailed videos. So you get a good overview without getting to deep into the topics which is perfect for those who don't need 10 hours of video material on Kimuras yet.
lets study
This game plan is A LOT easier to implement, understand and execute than other instructions from John Danaher. I would recommend to anyone who likes playing half guard, regardless of age.
Comprehensive guide to build your top game around half guard passing and dynamic pins. Well suited for advanced beginners and intermediates.
Really good top game system. Perfect for those who want to start with Danaher's systems, but don't want too deep into the woods. Relative beginners and intermediates will benefit from this instructional regardless of age.
Great!
The fact is a lot of Professors focus on younger students they think can win in tournaments. They give you platitudes and tell you to do your best but not adaptive options. They seem to have "Time for Talent". This series picks up where your Professor leaves off.
excellent pathways for top attacking
great!
Clearly a recommendation for those who gravitate towards grinding half guard top game. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast :)
Hold your opponent down like concrete
ageless jiu jitsu
I'm such a fan of this system. It's great for an older, injury-prone player like me.
John D has a unique way of teaching thats so satisfying to watch, really incredible material
This series is fantastic! It's not a deep dive into a position or a technique like usual instructionals. Rather, it's a comprehensive game plan that Prof. Danaher has compiled for the older, less athletic jiu jitsu practitioner. Highly detailed with contingencies for almost everything. Absolutely worth every penny.
Excellent material. Some of it is also covered in his other videos, but he brings it together in a way that is easy to put to immediate use. I saw an improvement in my game right away
after getting smashed and injured competing with younger more skilled opponents this has given me a chance to slow the matches down to my speed (which is obscenely slow)
Great material for folks like me that don't have that explosive game anymore. So much to absorb in this video, I've rewatched many sections and continually find something new to learn each time.
Despite being marketed as Jiu-Jitsu for those who are older, I find these techniques applicable for everyone. Very good concepts for pace control and maximising connection.
Another gem from John Danaher. This is a complete top game system, that is half guard-centric and is designed for older or less athletic practitioners, but in my opininion it can be incredibly useful for any Jiu Jitsu player looking to develop a strong top game.
top No GI
Taugh some whippersnappers a lesson after this one.
