• Ouchi Gari Compendium

  Sensei Jimmy Pedro provided an unique video series from solo to oartner drills to uchi komi to randori. He selects each part of the body and teaches how to use/move each oart propetly and eventually in union. It is about common mistakes and how to fix them as well as how to fake propery zo set up and his approach to generally fake the direction with head movement makes a big difference! Highly recommend!

• Fantastical

  Ouchi Gari was a throw that I always struggled with in live sparring- although I could catch beginners or people with much less mat time than me with it, I was never able to consistently throw with it, and relied on a single setup. After watching Jimmy's instructional I have been able to improve my understanding of the mechanics of the throw and have had much more sucess with it.

  One of the things I seek when purchasing a DVD is how detailed is it. Does it cover everything to bring a novice to the next level(s). This DVD does that, it provides everything you'll need, to be able to execute the Ouchi Gari in Randori and in a competitive environment as well. Most BJJ practitioners learn the Ouchi Gari, but are not able to achieve it at the highest levels, because it's not a move that is as simple as it seems. Well this DVD takes you through all the mechanics, angles, gripping, etc...It's. not just a, "here is the move DVD". This DVD will help ensure you're able to execute the Ouchi Gari at the highest levels, and give you the tools to combat all issues you'll face. For the BJJ practitioner, who doesn't train Judo, but has learned this technique, you'll now understand it completely and have the tools to achieve it in live practice and in a competitive situation. Worth every penny!
