followed Snake pit for a while so was stoked to see this released (half price nonetheless. almost feel guilty like I owe Joel some cash cause this is such a dope combination of class Billy Robinson inspired series. if you've never checked out some of Billy's old school Wigan catch wrestling you should do yourself a favour and get this. Billy and his disciples have created an extraordinary system that I find to be extremely complimentary to a no gi bjj style. Would absolutely recommend 10/10. Awesome brutal ****. Up there with Paulson, Barnett, Jake/scientific wrestling, and Melanson filth.

I love using catch as part of my overall grappling game. This instructional from Joel Bane is excellent, you will learn stuff in a way that you won't from most BJJ instructors.

Thoroughly enjoyed this instructional from Snake Pit USA's Joel Bane. Plenty of juicy technique to get stuck into, with Joel explaining the fine details to execute the submissions properly, from the limb positions to the angles. I particularly liked his style of teaching which reminded me of Erik Paulson's, which isn't surprising as Joel references him as being one of his teachers. I hope Joel returns with more catch wrestling goodies to share.

I’ve been following coach Joel bane on social media for a couple of years now and own a few of his other dvds. Everything he puts out is superb, no detail left out, and this video is no different. His instructionals have been pivotal in my CACC journey as I only get to train once a week in a gym. I highly recommend this if you have an interest in catch.

I've been training BJJ for just on 3 years, and in the last year or so have discovered Coach Bane's videos and seen some of his techniques. This video is phenomenal. Superbly efficient techniques with extreme attention to detail. Nothing is rushed through, and after trying some of these out with partners can personally attest to the pain and efficiency of them. Hoping we see a lot more of Coach Bane on BJJ Fanatics. Absolutely brilliant. Must have.

Coach Joel Bane has a concise and conceptual way of explaining concepts from CACC, as well as every grappling art he studies and competed in. This video in particular was a pure CACC concepts video, but Coach Bane can teach hybrid or focused attention on CACC, Judo, or BJJ. This and any future videos from Snake Pit U.S.A would be a goldmine of information for interested students of all grappling arts.

Joel Bane shows a style of catch wrestling that is highly effective in BJJ. There are many details that even good BJJ players will overlook in very simple transitions. The details shown here will improve your game in whatever grappling art you do. The hammer lock series has details that will make your kimura tighter (double wristlock), and the leg ride series will make your back control much more versatile. In addition, catch concepts such as rips, rides, and pins can be added to any grappling style and will improve anyone's game. Awesome stuff.

I’m a BJJ guy, but I’ve had some interactions with catch lately, specifically with Coach Joel Bane and his students. All top notch. And I’ll tell you straight, I’ve been stealing his techniques for years from other instructionals and YouTube videos. So, to see this here now I can tell you it is well worth the money and time investment for sure. You can’t go wrong with this material.

Joel Bane is the best Catch Wrestling coach out there. This video has great attention to detail, and concepts that make sense. If you are a current or former folkstyle wrestler, Catch is much easier to pick up that BJJ. If you do train BJJ, Catch will give you some more tricks that other competitors won't be familiar with.

I’ve been studying Catch Wrestling under Joel Bane since 2015. If you’ve ever been to one of his seminars or trained with him, you’re used to this high level, highly detailed instruction by Coach Joel. I am glad that he & BJJ Fanatics teamed up to put this video out. I hope this is the first of many to come. Everything on this video can only be beneficial to the grappler regardless of grappling discipline. Snake Pit USA is the top of the food chain in Catch Wrestling.
