A conceptual approach to guard passing. Short and straight to the point. Liked it.
J. C. is giving a outstanding roadmap of how to engage from open guard/seated guard top so to say. All the moves he shows to illustrate his ideas are groos motor based so that you are really able to focus on the essentials. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Lots of great concepts delivered clearly, and you can start implementing them straightaway. Also liked the games/drilling ideas.
great details
Changed the way I approach someone’s guard. Easy to digest and implement. Highly recommend.
This is a really well taught instructional with a lot of great conceptual ideas! Perfect for if you are just starting out or a higher level trying to deepen your understanding of attacking from the top position!
Jozef provides comprehensive approach to top-game. instead of teaching individual skills, he shows big picture of guard pass and its mechanism.
it is a real pleasure to learn from Jozef Chen, the BJJ computer/phone learning, innovative phenom. love how he talks about general principles which are easily applicable rather than just disconnected, incoherent specifics
I refused to learn top game . And now with this instructional I love that it has been a good roadmap to approaching passing. I wish there was more technique shown rather than just games . But it’s a good intro to passing
key concepts i found nowehere else.
Great details that can help anyone's game.
great instructional. Josef is really good at making me at understanding important principles
I love how jozef teaches. He rather explains concepts than detailed techniques. There certainly is a great value to explaining techniques in all its detail, but I feel like this is way much easier to apply directly into training. Please more of this!
very informational
I agree with the way the second volume frames scenarios and introduces the games to apply gripping and footwork strategies.
Great details
very streamlined passing instruction. solid concepts and application
