Eye opening
Great instructional. Gives Danaher’s philosophy of the standing position in jiu jitsu and how to go about learning it as a beginner
Some of the best instruction I have ever had. After years of training, I so wished I had this information from the beginning. Thank you John!
Great to learn about this 3 finger grip. I am a black belt in judo and didn't know this. John Danaher knowledge is super impressive 🙏
This is an excellent standup course for the gi. However if you prefer no gi or techniques that will work in either setting, I would recommend the fastest way by John danaher. Both excellent though.
Super impressed with Danahers knowledge or stand-up. His stand-up is every bit as impressive as his groundwork instructional. Really enjoying episode 1-2 of feet to floor volume 1🙏
I have a black belt in judoand am learning so much from Danahers airwork. Amazing knowledge
Great learning experience as John Danaher is able to share his knowledge in a ready-to-apply manner. It helps my understanding from all his instructionals, so I benefit straight away.
Great explanation of the shinzentai , semi crouch , and jigotai. The pros and cons of all of them.
great instruction
In my opinion, the best part of this are the last part of the series when he is going over takedowns for self-defense!!
great
helps know the basic building blocks to build standing game around
In-Depth Knowledge will be gained. Put in the time!
Great judo throws
Excellent product.
Great for beginners but also very dense. Don’t expect to finish this one in a few sittings. And don’t expect to implement even half of it, EVER. Very dense, if you’re into that
Definitely a must have as the first step in improving your gi takedown game
This is really a beginner's judo instructional, adapted for the sport of jiu jitsu. It's also one of the few street fighting instructionals out there (parts 7 & 8 are all about using jiu jitsu in real world settings). A great buy

Another outstanding instructional from a coach who has a deep understanding of not just the techniques themselves, but the context in which they need to be applied. This series helped me narrow my focus when it comes to standing techniques, especially when it comes to classic judo throws.
This was a great bit of information with a lot of techniques to pick which might be the best suited for your game or standup problems
Worth it just for the self defence
Great video! I highly recommend it for everyone.
love Danaher instructionals
