Great coverage of theory in the standing game, but I'm learning plenty that can transfer to the ground as well. I keep coming back and getting something new!
Best instructional out there for standing gi game.
Amazing content and makes so much sense. watch abit and drill a lot to have it sink into your system. Always amazing stuff coming from the best!
My gym sadly doesn't spend a whole lot of time doing takes downs in Gi. This instructional was a complete game changer for my Gi takedown game!
good stuff
Useful almost immediately
SVG (Standing vs Ground) self defense in a melee situation was amazing. Its an absolutely important information to know in a life and death situation.
Danaher feet to floor volume one
John Danaher is a genius when it comes to Tachi Waza
feet to floor
good so far...
Loved the High Single Leg section. Instant implementation. BTW... I hate clicking on the 41-50 in the next section.

It's the only resource I've found anywhere that teaches standup in a systematic way (as opposed to just throwing techniques at you) to jiu jitsu students. The content might be a bit long but I felt the context was very important and relevant for developing a standup game.
As someone that needs to understand the big picture and WHY to do one thing vs another this training absolutely nails it! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
I’ve realised that over the last 18 months I literally have been doing everything wrong. Danher has broken this down for people like myself who know nothing. As a maths teacher and someone who has an analytical way of thinking, this man is an absolute genius and will really teach you to become competent with his easy to understand methods.
Probably the lesser of the 3 volumes of foot 2 floor but still good. Alot of explanation.
Danaher is one of the Best and all his videos show that
This is exactly what BJJ needs. Danaher is showing the standing game specifically for jiu-jitsu jitsu instead of trying to make wrestling or judo work inside the jiu-jitsu context
Always appreciate Danahers instructionals
Each skill set builds off previously taught curriculum. John Danaher clearly explains and reiterates the importance of each topic in way that can be applied almost immediately. I would recommend feet to floor to everyone looking to improve their stand up game!
