Amazing
It all makes sense. I have to drill it and then I see if it still makes sense. But this is the best way to break down open guard imho. I've never been good at open guard although I know all the basic movements. Therefore, for more experienced players this seems to be awesome.

Mikey Musumeci explains how guard in general work. He ilustrates by utilizing his concept of boxes - sweeping box - back take box - submission box - how gripping and kuzushi kickstarts the game and how to work with different guard positions to get into the most available box. The instruction of the techniques is as precise and sharp as usually. Highly recommend!!

There are loads of great instructional on the Guard here, but this one is definitely a favourite! Mikey gives a clear explanation and amazing system for sweeps and attacks. And in such a short space of time, I have learnt a whole new way to think about my guard game and make it more effective.

If you are looking to improve your guard attacking game, then this is the video for you. There are top-tear instructions on fanatics, but Mikey is something else. I learned so much!

Instead of presenting a random array of techniques Mike presents you the key to understand why a sweep, a submission or a back take can be executed in a certain situation. Mike gives you the keys to string sweeps and attacks together. The kid is from another planet
