Tom lays out a great concept in framing, especially for me as a white belt. This was invaluable when I first started.
Love Tom's instructionals. Always so easy to follow. This one has lots of great frame concepts to add right away into your jiujitsu. I love half guard and lots here. Also great guard recovery material.
Tom DeBlass always bringing top notch instruction. Highly recommend!
Tom's ability to explain concepts about framing and how it contributes to your ability to retain your guard is amazing. His teaching style is efficient and easy to understand. I'm glad we live in a time that allows us instant access to products instead of waiting on shipping.
This instructional is very effective. Simple, easy to understand and follow. It is worth the price.
.
I've given this a review...damn you Bernardo..huge honor for me
As an older practitioner, 53, this training hit home & has helped my guard retention & recovery.
Informative and well presented.
Great instructions on a solid plan. Everyone of deblass DVDs I got so far have been incredible. His concepts are battle tested and work for all sizes. Tom shows framing from top and bottom and shows you how to make it more effective and easy to apply to your game .
Very good fundamentals. Simple yet effective! I recommend it for those of you ho wants a good defensive half guard game.
I wish this was the first instructional I bought. The first video alone has completely transformed my game. Rolling today was good. I was completely relaxed (no strength) and focusing on the small battles. I even got a heel hook with no training (just conceptual understanding). Some other DVDs may be more comprehensive, but can be excruciating to watch. I really like Tom's direct, straight to the point style. Videos I will actually watch!
Great instructional, these defensive concepts/techniques will save a lot of us from getting completely crushed on bottom. Tom explains the concepts/techniques very clearly, total professional as always. Very much appreciated, thank you sir. OOS! 👊
Tom talks you through a very solid seminar. My framing has gotten a lot better since.
Great product. I own most of Mr. Deblass instructionals and it helped my game considerably.
really good concepts that as a beginner i hadn't learned yet. framing under the chin on my back indefense mode has really helped my game. thanks to Tom for this instructional. gratitude to bjjfanatics for hosting.
Very clear explanation , really work and good technique
It was very good
Upon watching it the first the time, I did not quite concentrate on what Tom was trying to emphasis when explaining the framing foundations. Until I decided to completely disconnect and transfer my focus on volume one. Completing volume one led me to become engrossed, devouring all the volumes. The details Tom outlined were key gems, I never got from my instructors past and present when on the bottom. I can say I immersed myself 100% in this DVD, unlike previous instructional videos. I still note the concepts down from this DVD and apply them in practice. Cheers
Tom really delivers...great concepts usable immediately and effective!
At least the most useful one for me! All of his instructionals are great, but this is proving to be the most helpful for me. Others have great guard recovery DVDs, but this DVD had the best information on framing.
Tom DeBlass instantly added powerful and universal frames into my arsenal, I am positive my guard pass prevention/ defence will improve when I return to the mats after the Covid-19 epidemic.
