This was the first BJJ video I ever got almost five years. Have gotten several others since then but still rewatch this video and drill the techinques on a regular basis. I have built my whole half guard game off this video.

Tom does a great job of explaining a basic set of moves to have an effective half-guard. He keeps it clear and concise; you don't get overwhelmed with too many moves/steps or moves/positions that are overly complex. I highly recommend this video to anyone looking to establish a good half-guard game!

Tom is a clearly knowledgeable grappler and he breaks down peoples sticking points in half guard in a way that’s simple but still communicates effective technique. This could of easily been a $100+ course with how thorough it is. Amazing value
