Effective,easy to understand system of half guard attack and counter
I really enjoyed this instructional. It was easy to follow and clear. It goes through a system of attacks and counters that are easily transferable to the gym. I he set out in a simple enough format to come back to when you get stuck at the gym to figure out what went wrong or right.

A highly recommended instructional. Tom DeBlass is a brilliant teacher explains each concept clearly and simply. I remember Tom saying that he is a firm believer in mastering the fundamentals (I think it was in a BJJ Fanatics podcast) and I feel this is the best instructional on the half guard.

I did not have Tom de Blass in my radar and I took the opporunity of downloading this video in his free promotion. I am very surprised and satisfied with the video. Tom explains with great detail and simplicy each technique and, as myself being a leg locker, most of his half guard techniques allow to take the leg. I easily take people into half guard, but, as a whit belt, I did not have many resources from there. However, with this video I became quite dangerous when I catch someone in the half guard!
