I love this instructional because of the level of detail and repetition (as with all of danaher's videos). He explains the general theory and then goes deep into each path in detail and with repetition and multiple angles so even someone like myself with the attention span of a goldfish can still absorb it.
This series is mind-blowing. It is incredible how misunderstood and how flippantly kimuras are taught in modern BJJ. Danaher breaks down the mechanics to a point that you can immediately implement this into your game with almost minimal drilling. I can't recommend this series enough.
Danaher addresses seven different variations of the Kimura based upon their high percentage of success at a world class level. He stresses the duality of the Kimura as not only a submission but a restraining hold when and explains when and how to use either. What I found to be most useful is its ability bridge the gap between the triangle, crucifix, and back attack. If you want to end your scrambles in a winning position, I highly suggest you purchase this instructional.
This instructional changed my game more than any other. Applications in all rule sets - gi/no-gi/self-defense at all levels
Watch at 1.2 speed and take notes.
Worth every penny!
Very detailed extremely easy to understand and they work well when applied on the mat.
Danaher has got to be the best professor of all time. Amazing detail yet simple explanations. Simply fantastic.
Great instructional as usual from Mr Danaher.
Coach Danaher does an excellent job of breaking down the Kimura and how to use it in a myriad of situations. Also included are tips which woulkd be hard to get anywhere else than from Coach Danaher himself. Highly recommended to take your Kimura game to the next level.
Danaher explains the kimura system extremely well. It's given me a profound understanding of several new kimura set ups/submissions. I've finished more kimuras than ever.
I've been practising martial arts for more than 30 yrs now. Mostly judo and classic Japanese Ju Jitsu. I'm pretty new to BJJ. However I love this video. Very well structured, easy to understand. More than 8 hrs of content. First videos bring along all the principles. After that John concentrates on the application of them. There is enough material to practise for months. You'll hardly find better videos. If you take in account all the details and the amount of material the price is a bargain investition in your game.
Easy to understand and apply!
Amazingly detailed and clear instructions. Highly recommended.
Another masterpiece from Professor Danaher, the devil really is in the detail
Probably my personal favourite out of the Enter System series (have them all) and a real game changer.
I bought this instructional because I wanted a deep dive into the kimura system as I rarely used kimuras due to a lack of success in the past; and a deep dive is exactly what I got. Similar to all of Prof. Danaher's instructionals, the kimura system goes into extreme detail around entry options, maintaining control, and breaking mechanics. What I think is most impressive though, is how often kimuras become available after you become proficient in this system. Kimuras start to be found almost everywhere and they assist with control as well as submission threats. This instructional is well worth the sale price IF you are willing to put in the time and effort to learn, test and implement Prof. Danaher's kimura system.
Great breakdown. Big time game changer. Highly recommend
Great information. The difference is always in the details.
Great breakdown of a great submission. Excellent!
Solid instructional - very detail and covers lots of positions.
Just unbelievable amount of knowledge for all levels
Great course!
Improved my game and took this from my weak point to my strongest point
The best instructional videos are from John Danaher. The Kimura is sucj a strong move. Learn do it correctly. You will learn the techniques with so much detail. What I really like is how he puts everything into a system. Everyone at any level will learn something from it. I have been training jiu-jitsu for over 15 years. I find there is so much more detail and depth you can still learn. I highly recommend this.
